The charity spirit makes the rounds

At the Erbe Run held in the town center of Tübingen this past Sunday, over 1,100 runners made the mark, with 50 Cents for every kilometer run being donated to the Tübinger Tafel by our enterprise. Our Erbe Roadrunners were on site with 51 participants and they put in a fantastic performance, coming in first in the company ranking. The speediest four were Tobias Babel (00:31:03), Michael Fischer (00:37:48), Silas Müller (00:40:21) and Katharina Hofmann (00:43:13).

The virtual version of the run was greeted with enthusiasm around the globe as well. Over 600 runners from 31 countries shared the charity spirit, contributing to support of our social partner with all the kilometers they clocked. 162 Erbe Roadrunners from 12 subsidiaries in the Erbe Group participated worldwide.

The 11,216 kilometers that came together during the Erbe Run on Sunday amounted to a donation of 5,608 Euros to the Tübinger Tafel. Management decided to increase this sum to 10,000 Euros.

The 13,819 kilometers achieved during the Virtual Charity Run generated proceedings amounting to 6,910 Euros for Doctors without Borders. Management raised the donation to 10,000 Euros here as well.
